Silence and Solitude: The Assault on Satan

We live in a hurried world. Not only that, our society tells us to hurry and that we aren't valuable if we can't do things quickly. We also live in a world where we need to be around people and noise. However, some of the most incredible things that God does in scripture involve a healthy amount of silence and solitude. Perhaps this is why Jesus seeks out these two things so often. As Satan wages war on our lives, stillness may be the very best thing we can do to combat him.
