Unavoidable Light

Whenever we are in dark spaces, light attracts our attention. This really doesn't matter what kind of darkness we might be in. Whether it is spiritual, mental, or even literal darkness, light always finds a way to steal our eyes and attention. In the same way, when Jesus tells people that "I Am the light of the world," He is sending a message but He is also bringing light to a dark place. This morning we will explore what that was like in Jesus's time as well as how that looks today and what being light looks like and does in our culture.
