The I Am Hot Take

Whenever we talk about the "I Am" statements in the book of John, we are usually talking about seven particular statements. This morning, we will be looking into a time in John when Jesus said "I Am" that is not included. This moment actually got very heated very quickly when it took place. Jesus knew He was going to say something wildly unpopular and yet He did it anyway because He knew the truth. While this is an imperative example to follow, it happens less and less in our culture mainly due to fear. We shouldn't run from this though, we are actually invited to anticipate it.
